Thank You For Reading
Why are we organising this?
This Motorcycle Ride-Out is being organised in support of the fundraising efforts of Paul Dear.
In October last year Paul, a retired police officer, was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer.
He is currently undergoing treatment, but in June this year he will be taking on the challenge of riding, as part of an organised event (organised by *Prostate Cancer UK), from London to Amsterdam over 2 days, to raise as much money for Prostate Cancer UK as is possible. Having never cycled more than about 15 miles at one time before this, and now taking on London to Amsterdam (about 145 miles), Paul will be challenged, that's for sure - especially as he'll be riding bike with no engine!!!
All of the money raised on this Ride-Out
- EVERY SINGLE PENNY -
will go to Prostate Cancer UK
*Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer among men. Prostate Cancer UK is a charity set up to invest money into research to provide better diagnosis of the condition, better treatment & care for those who suffer from this awful condition.
